Our story begins in a junkyard outside a small Ontario town.
Deep in a pile of forgotten refuse, a collection of discarded nanobots
break free from their container.
Build to repair, they immediately set to work gathering and assembling
random parts without any kind of schematic or reference.
The result of their toil is a mismash of random electronics resembling
a forgotten toy from your childhood.
After bringing the unit to life it immediately started spouting random
words and sentences.
Their creation was the Ranting Robot and it served but one purpose:
To entertain.
Unfortunately, it started to develop intelligence. After stealing the
fortune files off an old Linux box, it disappeared from the junkyard
and it's current whereabouts are unknown.
The greatest scientific minds can't tell us whether it's done or will
continue to evolve, but one thing they do know:
